1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Naukrofy (“Naukrofy”, “we”, “us”) for your use of naukrofy.com and all related features, dashboards and services (the “Platform”). By accessing the Platform, creating an account, or using any service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Definitions

• Job Seeker: a person using the Platform to find work or career information.
• Employer: a company or organisation posting jobs or hiring.
• Business / Shop: a small business, shop or local establishment registered to post local vacancies.
• College / TPO: an educational institution or its training and placement office using campus placement features.
• User: any person using the Platform, including all of the above.
• Content: any information, text, files, images, video, reviews or other material submitted or posted on the Platform.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or of legal working age as per applicable law, and capable of entering a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you register on behalf of a company, shop or college, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.

4. Accounts and Security

• You must provide accurate, current and complete information, and keep it updated.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your password and OTPs confidential.
• One person should not operate multiple accounts to mislead, spam or evade restrictions.
• Tell us immediately at support@naukrofy.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
• We may verify accounts and may require additional information or documents for employer, business and college registration.

5. Nature of Our Service

Naukrofy is an independent job information platform and an intermediary. We provide tools for publishing and discovering job information and for communication between users. We are not a recruitment agency or the employer for third-party vacancies, we do not guarantee any job, interview, hiring or candidate quality, and we are not a party to any agreement between Users.

6. Job Seeker Responsibilities

• Provide truthful profile, qualification and experience details; do not submit forged documents or impersonate anyone.
• Verify an employer and a job before applying, sharing documents or attending interviews.
• Do not pay money to anyone for a job, and report such requests to us.
• Treat employers and other users respectfully and keep communication professional.
• Use the Platform only for genuine job search and career purposes.

7. Employer, Business and Shop Responsibilities

• Post only genuine, current vacancies that you are authorised to fill, with accurate title, location, salary range, responsibilities and eligibility.
• Do not charge candidates any fee for applying, interviews, selection, training, kits, uniforms or deposits, and do not ask them to pay for anything in connection with a job.
• Do not post misleading, discriminatory or unlawful jobs; follow applicable labour, wage, equal opportunity and other laws.
• Do not post jobs for illegal activity, multi-level marketing disguised as jobs, or schemes that need candidates to recruit or invest.
• Use candidate data only to evaluate and contact candidates for the stated job and handle it as required by law and our Privacy Policy.
• Respond to candidates professionally and update or close jobs that are filled.
• Keep your company, shop and billing information accurate.

8. College / TPO Responsibilities

• Provide accurate institution and coordinator details and keep them current.
• Post and manage campus drives truthfully and only for students and alumni you are authorised to represent.
• Use student data only for placement purposes and in line with applicable law and the Privacy Policy.
• Do not collect fees from students on behalf of any employer through the Platform.

9. Applying for Jobs and Hiring Process

• When you apply, you allow Naukrofy to share your application, profile and resume with that employer.
• Employers decide on shortlisting, interviews and selection at their own discretion; Naukrofy has no role in these decisions.
• Interviews, offers and joining formalities may happen on or off the Platform. Take care and follow our safety guidance.
• Employers may use ATS, candidate pools, tasks and message templates only for genuine hiring.
• Referral and shared-job features must not be used to spam or to collect candidate data for other purposes.

10. Communications and Notifications

By registering you agree to receive service messages by email, SMS, WhatsApp and in-app notifications about your account, applications, interviews, alerts and security. Optional alerts and updates can be managed in your notification preferences. Messaging providers’ own terms and charges may apply.

11. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• Post false, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing or unlawful content.
• Post duplicate, spam or irrelevant jobs or messages.
• Collect or scrape data from the Platform by automated means, or misuse candidate or employer data.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access, introduce malware, overload or disrupt the Platform, or bypass security or rate limits.
• Impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Use the Platform to sell products, run unrelated promotions or ask for money.
• Infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
• Do anything that violates any applicable law.

12. Your Content and License to Us

You own the Content you submit. By posting it, you grant Naukrofy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, adapt, and distribute it on and in connection with the Platform and its services, for as long as it is on the Platform and as needed for legal and backup purposes. You confirm that you have the right to submit the Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.

13. Reviews and Ratings

Company reviews must be honest, based on genuine experience, and free from abuse, confidential information, false claims or personal attacks. Reviews reflect the opinion of the reviewer only. We may moderate, edit, hide or remove reviews that break these Terms and are not obliged to publish any review.

14. Paid Services, Payments and Taxes

• Some employer, business, recruiter, sponsorship or profile services may be paid. Prices, features and validity are shown at the time of purchase and may change for future purchases.
• Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways. We do not store your full card details.
• Applicable taxes, including GST, are charged and invoiced as required by law. Please provide correct billing and GST details.
• Unless a specific plan or the law says otherwise, fees paid are non-refundable once a service has started or been delivered. Failed or duplicate payments are reviewed and refunded as per the payment gateway’s process and our refund terms, where applicable.
• Subscriptions or plans expire at the end of their stated period unless renewed.

15. Sponsored and Promoted Content

Some listings, companies or placements may be sponsored, featured or promoted, and are labelled accordingly. Sponsored placement does not mean Naukrofy endorses or has verified the advertiser beyond our standard checks.

16. Moderation, Suspension and Termination

We may review, edit, reject, hide or remove any Content, and may warn, restrict, suspend or permanently terminate any account, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or the law, posted a fake or misleading job, put other users at risk, or if required by law or a government authority. You may stop using the Platform and request deletion of your account at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law) will continue to apply.

17. Account Deletion

You can ask for your account to be deleted through the Data Requests page. Active paid services end without refund unless our refund terms say otherwise. Content already shared with employers or colleges, and records we must keep by law, may remain.

18. Intellectual Property

The Platform, its design, software, text, logos, graphics and compilation, and the Naukrofy name, are owned by or licensed to us and protected by law. You may use the Platform only for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from any part of it without our written permission. Third-party names and logos belong to their owners.

19. Third-Party Links and Services

The Platform may contain links to, or rely on, services of third parties. We are not responsible for their content, policies or conduct, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

20. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform and all content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that any listing is genuine or still open. See our Disclaimer.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Naukrofy and its owners, directors, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of income, opportunity, data or reputation, arising from your use of the Platform, your dealings with other Users, or any third-party conduct. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to Naukrofy for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the three months before it arose, or INR 1,000 if you paid nothing.

22. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Naukrofy and its owners, directors, employees and partners from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Content, your breach of these Terms or the law, or your violation of another person’s rights.

23. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these Terms.

24. Reporting Violations and Grievances

To report unlawful content, a fake job, or a violation of these Terms, write to support@naukrofy.com. Complaints can also be sent to our Grievance Officer: Sanjeev Verma, support@naukrofy.com. We will review and respond within the timelines required by law.

25. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Parties will first try to resolve any dispute in good faith through discussion. Failing that, the courts at Gonda, Uttar Pradesh will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have under law.

26. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new date, and continued use of the Platform after that means you accept the changes. If you do not agree, you should stop using the Platform.

27. General

• Entire agreement: these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Disclaimer are the entire agreement between you and Naukrofy on this subject.
• Severability: if any provision is held invalid, the rest remain in force.
• No waiver: a delay in enforcing any right is not a waiver of it.
• Assignment: you may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may assign ours in a restructuring or sale of the business.
• Force majeure: we are not liable for failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
